The Azerbaijani side has the impression that Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan wants to blow off the negotiations process in any way possible. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said this in a meeting with Secretary-General of the CSTO, Thomas Greminger, according to reports by Trend.
The report states that one of the main topics of discussion between Aliyev and Greminger was the resolution of the Karabakh conflict. Aliyev emphasized that Armenia’s new Prime Minister “has been making contradictory announcements since day one,” which “at the very least are shocking.”
The Azerbaijani president is also completely against Pashinyan’s idea that the Republic of Artsakh also needs to participate in negotiations.
