September 13,2018 15:40

Second President Robert Kocharyan announced that there is a new tyrant in Armenia. Speaker of the National Assembly Ara Babloyan spoke to reporters regarding this statement. “If you pay attention, after every meeting I hold with the prime minister, human rights defender, and president, especially after meetings with the prime minister, my main emphasis is on the fact that we have gone forward in the past few years in regards to democracy and we don’t have the right to go backwards.”

Regarding Kocharyan’s evaluation and answering the question of whether he considers Pashinyan to be a tyrant, Ara Babloyan said that he allowed the prime minister to finish his statement, and that should not take place during a meeting, but in the National Assembly. “We need to discuss, raise questions, and get answers about such serious issues in the place where all political forces are represented.”

Answering the question of whether he considers there to be a danger of tyranny in our country, Ara Babloyan said, “We all need to ensure that such a  thing does not take place here.”
