The World Chess Championships for boys and girls under the age of 20 are continuing in Turkey.

Armenian grandmasters Aram Hakobyan and Manuel Petrosyan met in the ninth tour. Aram won, and two tours before the end of the championship, he won 7 points, which caused him to rise to second place.
