Head of the “Yelq” alliance Lena Nazaryan announced during a press briefing that Naira Zohrabyan is using black PR against them.
When asked by reporters about how Lena Nazaryan said the opposite- that Prosperous Armenia voted in favor of Serzh Sargsyan becoming Prime Minister and that Prosperous Armenia was in a number of coalitions with the RPA- how could “Yelq” be blamed for having connections with the RPA, parliamentarian from the “Tsarukyan” alliance Iveta Tonoyan said, “Prosperous Armenia never used negative PR. All of that was simply in response to racketeering and terror used on social media, websites, and Instagram. The only solution to it was the speech that was made at the meeting. For several days, people were told through private messages on Instagram and Facebook not to vote for Naira Zohrabyan. When this continues for several days, it’s obvious that there will be a response eventually. We have lots of evidence and we’re preparing to present those facts to European organizations. One of the CoE human rights commissioners is in Armenia and all of this will also be presented to them, because what is going on is against all logical explanations. People are using the worst insults against the candidate, her friends, and her relatives, they are also using threats and calls to action. All of that is being done by workers of state ministries. Besides that, all of this is being done by a few thousand fake pages. Everything is being disclosed because it’s all being done in an undignified manner. There are even several pages being opened using the same pictures. When we gather all the facts, we’ll present everything to the appropriate organizations.”
Iveta Tonoyan said that they have specific facts that members of several ministries are spreading hatred against Naira Zohrabyan.
