On 20–22 September, cyclists in the Belarusian capital of Minsk will join in with European Mobility Week (EMW), an international campaign to raise awareness about sustainable urban mobility.
On 20 September, a study on the advantages of cycling for cities and urban residents will be presented in Minsk. On 21 September, free fruit will be handed out to those who choose to cycle to their place of work or study. Volunteers from the Minsk Cycling Community will distribute the healthy incentives in five locations around the country’s capital.
On 22 September, a large festival will be organised as part of the celebrations of World Car Free Day. In the afternoon, Minsk’s residents will enjoy fairs, masterclasses, exhibitions, a film screening, a contest and a bike parade.
