“During the CoE Monitoring Committee session, I spoke about how Azerbaijan opened fire on the Koti village, and how Armenian citizen Suren Sepkhanyan was wounded as a result. I also spoke about how Azerbaijan has been firing upon other villages as well. Azerbaijan’s authorities are taking advantage of the current situation in Armenia and are trying to make the situation more difficult for Armenia by trying to make sure Armenia has shortcomings in the Karabakh conflict resolution process. I have said many times before and will not be afraid to say it again that we are more united in the Artsakh conflict.
Regarding the issue of the committee agenda, I presented the recent advancements in Armenia at the request of the committee in accordance with the agenda. Taking into consideration the confidentiality of the activities of the committee, I will inform everyone of the decisions that were made and of the committee’s position when that is no longer confidential.”
