‘No atmosphere for organized election bribes in Yerevan’: ‘Luys’ mayor candidate

September 19,2018 14:35

“Those are just rumors since they haven’t been proven with facts. The police is working in that direction,” the “Luys” alliance mayor candidate and current Minister of Justice Artak Zeynalyan told reporters regarding recent reports about election bribes.

The “Republic” and “Bright Armenia” political parties will be participating in the Yerevan City Council elections as part of the “Luys” alliance.

According to Artak Zeynalyan, there is currently no environment for election bribes like there was during elections in previous administrations. “The CEC will evaluate the results of the Yerevan elections.”

According to Artak Zeynalyan’s observations, these elections are unprecedented. “There has not been this much participation for a long time. This means that the political parties foresee hope and possibilities.”
