‘Political etiquette demands Pashinyan to apologize as publicly as he insulted’: Eduard Sharmazanov

September 20,2018 16:36

“Two days ago, he publicly insulted the second and third presidents, calling them “political corpses,” but today the government is inviting them to celebrate September 21st together.

Political etiquette and correctness demands that Pashinyan apologize to the second and third presidents as publicly as he insulted them, and then send an invitation. I think that that would have been the most civilized approach,” Vice Speaker of the National Assembly Eduard Sharmazanov told Aravot.

The government announced that all former presidents of the Republic of Armenia are invited to celebratory events on September 21st in honor of Independence Day.

Eduard Sharmazanov thinks that state holidays are for everyone and he considers the invite to be positive. However, the vice speaker considers Nikol Pashinyan’s behavior to be strange.
