After the mayor candidate of the “Heritage” party, Raffi Hovhannisyan, voted in the Yerevan City Council elections, he said that he thought all night about how to respond to the question “what are we voting for?” “I am voting for a free, dignified, and leading city and homeland. I wish all of our fellow citizens a great election, and I wish the same for all candidates from our competing forces. May today be a good day and may we go to work tomorrow already knowing the results,” Hovhannisyan said.
He said that regardless of who is elected mayor of Yerevan, he’s prepared to congratulate them without any reservations. “I’m congratulating them right now without any reservations,” Raffi Hovhannisyan said.
According to the “Heritage” leader, “Everyone wins in these elections. With these elections, we’ve registered the start of our victory. Everything else is based on quality and a question of stability in the field of politics, which, in my opinion, will take several years.”
Hovhannisyan said that they support having parliamentary elections as soon as possible. “We support having elections as soon as possible.”
