Dear citizens of the Republic of Artsakh,
Dear colleagues in the Republic of Armenia and the Diaspora,
We published the special report by the Artsakh Human Rights Defender regarding Armenophobia in Azerbaijan, finishing the work we began through collecting facts since the April War of 2016. Although our institution has actively implemented and continues to implement large-scale activities in different directions, I particularly considered the aforementioned project to be of utmost importance since the beginning.
Now that I have completed that work, I give myself the right to carry out the personal decision that I made about a month or two ago, which is to resign from the position of the Ombudsman of Artsakh.
Based on these standards, I now picture myself outside of the state system in the arena of human rights. I have always thought of this as an important mission to create a straightforward and impartial agenda.
