On September 27, the President of the RA National Assembly Ara Babloyan received the delegation of the Executive Director of the Armenian Missionary Association of America (AMAA) headed by Zaven Khanjian.
Welcoming the guests, Ara Babloyan congratulated them on the establishment of the AMAA Centennial and highlighted their activities in the Motherland since 1988 earthquake.
Touching upon the events in Armenia, the President of the National Assembly has underlined that regardless of the changes occurred in our country and different positions in the issues stemming from the interests of the state all forces are of the same opinion.
Thanking for the reception Zaven Khnajyan has noted that they are ready to continue the support Armenia. The guests highlighted the contribution of Diaspora Armenians in the development of the economy of our country.
The interlocutors stressed with satisfaction the fact that the change of power took place without shock in our country. In this context the Head of the parliament particularly said: “The provision of the country’s security, the further deepening of democracy, the development of economy and people’s welfare is important for me.”
