On September 27th, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense announced that they received a new batch of the “Polonez” Multiple Launch Rocket System. The ministry also published photographs and a video.
There appeared to be 5 charging vehicles, 3 rocket launchers, and 3 connecting and controlling vehicles. According to the Azerbaijani sources, they received the 301 mm caliber missiles, or the A200.
The A200 is produced by the Chinese “China Academy of Launch Vehicle Technology (CALT)” organization. According to the producer, the specifications of the launchers are as follows:
Firing range: 50-200 km
Warhead weight: 130 kg
Accuracy potential: 30 m (radius)
