Charles Aznavour died at the age of 94. The death of the world-famous singer shocked all fans of his work.
People paid their respects in honor of Aznavour at the Charles Aznavour Square in Yerevan. People placed bouquets of roses on his star.
There will be a candlelight procession at 7.
This photograph was taken at Aznavour’s home in 2013, when duduk player Gevorg Ghabaghyan and kemenche player Hakob Khalatyan held a special concert in honor of the maestro. Aznavour, with childlike innocence, said that he also had played the duduk, but, “My cheeks don’t swell up like that.”
