On 30 September, the Armenian capital of Yerevan hosted a three-a-side street basketball tournament to mark the participation of the country in the European Week of Sports.
The event was organised by the EU Delegation to Armenia, in cooperation with the country’s Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs, in order to promote a healthy and active lifestyle.
EU Ambassador Piotr Świtalski, together with the country’s Sports and Youth Affairs Minister Levon Vardanyan and President of the Armenian Basketball Federation Hrachya Rostomyan, presented an award to the team that won the tournament.
