The French Ambassador to Armenia was present for the book ceremony in honor of the Armenian version of French President Emmanuel Macron’s book “Revolution” being published. “Azatutyun” asked him a few questions regarding the latest events in Armenia. French Ambassador to Armenia Jonathan Lacote said that, as a country which has an embassy in Armenia, France is following the events taking place. However, they have no right to interfere.
“We believe that Armenia will accept the Francophonie summit. Next week, the whole world will meet Yerevan. That is a historical event for Armenia and a unique opportunity to create connections with the rest of the French-speaking world. We believe that these events will be received wonderfully in Armenia,” the ambassador added.
