On October 7th in the stone factory in the second neighborhood of Davtashen, Harutyun Gharagyozyan’s body was found with a gunshot wound in the head. There was a pistol in his right hand. According to preliminary data, Gharagyozyan committed suicide. Investigations continue.
The weapon was legal.
A pistol had been found in one of the bakeries on Armenakyan street in Nork-Marash during investigations. It was clear that the weapon belonged to Gharagyozyan. He was awarded the Pietro Beretta pistol in an agreement signed by the Armenian prime minister on March 22, 2001. The circumstances of the incident still await clarification. The investigation continues.
