If elections take place in December, the head of the RPA faction, Vahram Baghdasaryan, does not guarantee that the RPA will not nominate a candidate for Prime Minister. He also said this to Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during their meeting on October 2nd. During an interview in parliament, Vahram Baghdasaryan said that the RPA will not nominate a candidate for sure if elections are held in May.
When asked if elections were to take place in December, is it possible that the RPA or any other political party will nominate a candidate whom the RPA will support, Vahram Baghdasaryan said that such discussions have not been held. But he agreed that he cannot exclude that possibility. “We are continuing the negotiations process. We haven’t had discussions yet. I don’t have the same opportunity as Mr. Pashinyan to make decisions by myself.”
