Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan presented newly appointed Minister Felix Tsolakyan to the staff of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. Thanking outgoing Minister Hrachya Rostomyan for joint work, the Prime Minister congratulated Felix Tsolakian and wished him every success
“Mr. Tsolakyan is not a new person in our public administration system; he has served in the national security system for many years. He holds the military rank of Lieutenant-General. I consider his appointment as emblematic since I wanted to emphasize that during the recent political processes and in the near future, following the upcoming National Assembly elections, we have to set a task to mobilize our professional potential for the development of our country.
The Government will soon consider professionalism as a priority. Although Mr. Tsolakyan was not a revolutionary activist, his appointment to the post of Minister was given a positive feedback, which means that either the public understands and assumes that political divides will should be erased sooner or later. Now we are entering a period when we have to give up drawing divides,” Nikol Pashinyan said.
The Head of Government highlighted the role of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and thanked Felix Tsolakyan for taking on a responsible post in this crucial period. For his part, Felix Tsolakyan thanked the Premier for confidence and went on to assure that the Ministry will live up to the tasks set for it.
