October 11,2018 17:34

The Central African Republic President Faustin-Archange Touadera said in his speech at the 17th annual Francophonie Summit that he honors the memory of Charles Aznavour, and described him as being the “Armenian French-speaking artist who should’ve been here with us today.”

He said that the theme of the summit- to live together, to share humanitarian ideals, and to respect diversity- are compatible with the situation in the Central African Republic. “Humanitarian ideals have spread throughout my country after the constitution was reaffirmed. I did everything I could when guaranteeing safety was not possible to win the elections and guarantee peace for my compatriots. We encourage all Central African citizens to have humanitarian ideals and to respect differences. I would like to tell the youth of Central African to make every effort in their education.”
