First Lady of Armenia Anna Hakobyan spoke with reporters about the Francophonie Summit and the guests’ impressions. She said that she invited everyone to come to Armenia again. “We all invited each other. They all happily expressed the desire to return, because they understand through what they saw and what they felt that they needed more time here. They are all busy people; if they can, they will come back. Of course, they also invited us, too. I am so happy that guests love our country. Regardless of which country they came from, what their cultural background is, they all speak wonderfully about Armenia, and they truly had a good time here. They were very impressed with how Armenia organized the Francophonie summit. I am happy that we were able to leave that kind of impression on people and that we were able to organize everything on such a high level.”
When asked if any of the guests had tried Armenian food, Hakobyan said that they did and they also enjoyed it. “It was very interesting for them. No matter where we went- whether it was a museum or cafe- they all enjoyed it. They also liked the concert on Republic Square. So, we can all congratulate each other. They at least are taking warm impressions about our country back home, and I think that they will come back as soon as they can.”
