The manager of the Gibraltar national football team, Julio Cesar Ribas, and footballer Anthony Bardon held a press conference.
Ribas, speaking about the change in management of the Armenian national football team, said that it’s difficult to say whether that will be a positive or negative thing for them. He said that the Armenian team is very strong and its footballers play for strong teams. Regarding the change in management, he said that that’s simply what managers have to deal with, and changes always happen.
The Gibraltar footballer also said that Armenia has a strong team and that was proven during the match against Liechtenstein. However, he promised that they will be very focused when they play and, despite everything, they will find the strength to be stubborn.
Aravot.am asked if all the Gibraltar players will be on the field, or if there have been losses on the team. “Two players will not be present from the main team. One of the footballers didn’t come because he has two yellow cards, and the other one tore a muscle and returned to Gibraltar,” said the manager. He asked which players from the Armenian team will be on the field, and we told him to ask the manager of the Armenian team that question.
