According to a report by the UN, there are 2,851,889 Turkish refugees in 185 countries around the world. When the rest of the nations were added together, the total number of Turkish refugees reached 3,108,971.
The largest number of Turkish refugees live in Germany, at 1,543,787. The number of Turkish refugees in France is 259,514, in the Netherlands 203,483, in Austria 165,206, in the USA 106,805, and 83,199 in Switzerland.
The number of Turkish migrants in Sweden, the United Arab Emirates, Belgium, and Australia is between 42-46,000.
According to the UN report, there are more Turkish refugees in Armenia than in Azerbaijan. The number of refugees in Armenia is 1,809, whereas the number of refugees in Azerbaijan is 1,648. There are an estimated 983 refugees in Georgia and 2,438 in Iran.
It is also noteworthy to mention that there is only one Turkish refugee in all of Nicaragua, El Salvador, and Thailand.

Only one Turk refugee in all of Nicaragua, El Salvador, and Thailand?
Heck, That’s good enough to start a colony.
This article is extremely misleading because it leads the unsuspecting reader to conclude that the 1,809 refugees from Turkey in Armenia are ethnic Turks and not ethnic Armenians. The chances are very high that most, if not nearly all, of “Turkish refugees” in Armenia are Armenians from Turkey, mostly from Istanbul. I know a few myself.
We know the chances are near zero that any Armenian is even allowed into Azerbaijan from anywhere including Turkey, meaning that the 1,648 “Turkish refugees” in Azerbaijan are not ethnic Armenians, but Turks or Kurds.
Aravot might as well have written that Armenia has been invaded by Syrians, without stating the “invaders” are nearly all, if not all, ethnic Armenians.
