The new Electoral Code was voted upon during a National Assembly session organized by the “Yelq” and “Tsarukyan” factions.
It was rejected again because it had received one vote less than necessary. The Electoral Code draft received 62 votes in favor and 2 abstained and was therefore rejected.
Since this is a constitutional law, 63 votes in favor of the draft were needed in order for it to pass.
