An anonymous individual was arrested at the Russian border patrol’s Artashat gate who illegally crossed the Armenian-Turkish border.
According to preliminary information, the person who was arrested is a citizen of Afghanistan.
The individual illegally crossed the Pakistan-Afghanistan, Afghanistan-Iran, and Iran-Turkey border in search of a better life. He was only arrested at the Turkey-Armenia border by the Russian border patrol.
The person who crossed the border was turned over to law enforcement.
