Gagik Tsarukyan reassured reporters that he and his entire team are standing next to Nikol Pashinyan so that the revolution can reach its end and so that the people can rule Armenia.
“They want to make positive changes, but look at your daily lives, your condition, and the people,” Gagik Tsarukyan said, answering the question of what positive changes took place after the revolution.
Gagik Tsarukyan also said that he did not have any “investment” in the former prime minister’s brother’s, Henrik (Jonik) Abrahamyan’s, release, that he did not convince Nikol Pashinyan of anything, and that everything took place within the framework of the law. “Jonik Abrahamyan was arrested mainly for possessing weapons. It was said that those were weapons used on March 1st, so it was investigated. Turns out the weapons had nothing to do with March 1st. We live in a nation at war. Those were secret weapons that he had for 15 years. It was discovered that the weapons were not used for anything, and so he was released.”
When asked how the Abrahamyans obtained those weapons since they did not defend the homeland at the border, Tsarukyan answered angrily that defending the homeland is not only at the border. It also consists of feeding, clothing, and arming those who are at the border.
Reporters asked Tsarukyan if he has any weapons. “I have 75 weapons that are registered. I love guns.”
When asked what he uses those weapons for, Tsarukyan said that he goes hunting. “Men need to shoot.”
