I am reaffirming my approach.
The acceptance of the new draft of the Electoral Code, instead of being one of the main achievements of the revolution, did not have an important place among the list of the Prime Minister’s priorities.
It is therefore not surprising that the RPA (and the ARF, somewhat) was successful in making sure the draft was rejected.
It would have been better (and more appropriate for the steps taken during the revolution) to hold elections in the spring with a new Electoral Code instead of holding elections now with the old one.
As a result, we will have half-political and half-district elections. The development of the political culture will be pushed back 5 years.
