Thirty prisoners from the Armavir Penitentiary have announced an unlimited hunger strike.
The prisoners have demanded a meeting with Minister of Justice Artak Zeynalyan.
“We demand that the amnesty plan be reviewed. Minister of Justice Artak Zeynalyan said that there will be unprecedented amnesties, but what is unprecedented about this? Whom does this affect? We want this to also apply to mid-level crimes over the span of 10 years,” one of the prisoners who announced a hunger strike told A1+.
