On October 30th, the Foreign Affairs Ministers of Azerbaijan, Turkey, and Georgia accepted the Istanbul decree as a result of trilateral meetings. The decree states that the three nations accept territorial integrity, according to a statement written by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan.
The text of the decree states that the three sides expressed content in advancing bilateral and trilateral collaborations, and they expressed loyalty towards future advancements of their relations.
Besides that, the document states that the region’s peace, security, stability, and economic development are threatened by conflicts in the North Caucasus. It emphasizes that the status-quo is unacceptable and that all conflicts need to be resolved immediately.
