“There is missing information,” Deputy Minister of Defense Gabriel Balayan told reporters after a government session regarding the accident that took place while transporting Armenian soldiers.
On November 7th, an accident took place on the Vorotan-Khndzoresk highway, resulting in the deaths of four soldiers. Over 20 soldiers were transported to the Zangezur military hospital.
Balayan said that it would not be right to make any commentary during this phase, since preliminary investigations are being conducted. The investigative committee is carrying out an investigation.
According to the deputy minister, soldiers who had received official ranks also allowed for missing information.
Now, according to Babayan, a special group is working in that direction. All forces are involved so that such unprecedented accidents do not take place again. “Several technical rules were violated, so it is possible that some pieces that were in disrepair will be disclosed.”
