“The President of the Student Council suggested that I go speak in the cabinet, but I refuse to do so because I think that all of you need to participate in this discussion. Secret discussions cannot take place anymore, as was common for years in the Student Council,” Acting Minister of Education and Science Arayik Harutyunyan told students at Yerevan State University.

President of the YSU Student Council Armen Khachikyan said that such meetings did not take place while he and his team were in charge, and he presented his complaint that, according to students, there are contradictory elements and that there has been a rise in tensions. The minister said that he knows some details and that the deputy minister is dealing with this issue, but the minister himself will take a look at the issue too. “I don’t think that anything contradictory can occur. I think that this issue can be resolved through meetings.”
