“The RPA says that my friend Nikol Pashinyan, after becoming Prime Minister, started to be in favor of a Eurasian economic approach, which has been voted for in international platforms by people such as Eduard Nalbandyan… I think so too. The RPA and Civil Contract can form an alliance because they are on the same level as far as their ideals,” said former Prime Minister, head of the Republic party Aram Zaven Sargsyan during the formulation ceremony of the ‘Menk (Us)’ alliance. The alliance will be participating in the upcoming snap parliamentary elections on December 9th.
According to Aram Sargsyan, the alliance will not oppose the government and its supporters, but instead it will be the other option. “That is the right path. That is why I formed an alliance with the Free Democrats; the political party supports European values and is in favor of developing the economic market with the European Union. They know that real investment money doesn’t come from Russia, Belarus, or Kazakhstan.”
Aram Sargsyan said that Civil Contract party made an offer for the snap elections on December 9th, and discussions took place, but he sees his party benefiting the most from an alliance formed with the Free Democrats.
