Acting Minister of Justice, member of the Republic political party Artak Zeynalyan will be running as a candidate for deputy, but as far as whether he will be a minister in the new government, Zeynalyan has not said anything as of yet. “The composition of the working government will be decided upon by the people. I think that Nikol Pashinyan is pleased with my work,” he told reporters.
The Republic and Free Democrats parties formed the ‘Menk (Us)’ alliance. Zeynalyan, regarding how high he considers the alliance’s chances in the upcoming election on December 9th, said, “We will do everything to make sure that we get good results.”
According to Artak Zeynalyan, it still isn’t clear what candidate from the ‘Menk (Us)’ alliance will be leading which voting district. Discussions still continue. “Our two forces will be deciding soon whether or not we will include other forces. Public workers will also be included in our alliance. We do not exclude the possibility of including other forces.”
