The operative connection between Armenia and Azerbaijan, which is used for both sides to inform one another of incidents along the border, continues uninterrupted. Acting Minister of Defense Davit Tonoyan spoke about this with reporters.
When asked whether the issue of establishing a direct connection between the two countries’ commanding forces has been discussed, Tonoyan said that the issue has been presented to the co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group.
“I think that that could be a serious way to decrease risks and prevent incidents from occurring. In any case, we have presented this issue to the OSCE Minsk Group,” Davit Tonoyan said.
