‘I urge to reject the idea of creating a pan-Armenian party’: Vitaly Balasanyan to Sasna Tsrer

November 14,2018 17:35

We are leading within the confines of the law, and those who will carry out illegal activities will receive the appropriate response from law enforcement bodies. Artsakh’s Security Council Secretary Vitaly Balasanyan spoke to Aravot regarding the car parade organized by the Sasna Tsrer Pan-Armenian party for November 17th.

He said that if the communities where they plan to carry out this parade are informed within the limits of the law, then the parade can continue.

“I have offered my opinion. The members of Sasna Tsrer committed an act of terrorism, and terrorists should not be granted amnesty. Armenian law enforcement bodies supported them since they were not charged with terrorism. Besides that, they shouldn’t have used one of our national treasures as their personal name,” Balasanyan said.

He voiced his opinion that they will not find a sufficient number of people in Artsakh that will allow them to form a political party.

“I urge to reject the idea of creating a Pan-Armenian party. I don’t know how well they know about our laws, but the laws do not allow for them to create a sister party in Artsakh,” Balasanyan emphasized.
