Second President of Armenia, former Prime Minister Serzh Sargsyan is not on the RPA’s pre-election list, nor will he be participating in the campaigns. RPA member Karine Achemyan spoke about this with reporters after the presentation of the pre-election lists in the Central Electoral Commission.
“He is the head of our political party, and many discussions in our party take place with him. But he will not be involved in campaigns. Vigen Sargsyan is the one heading our list,” Karine Achemyan said.
She said that Serzh Sargsyan is in meetings and discussions all day. “He is involved in those activities.”
