The Rule of Law political party presented its pre-election list to the Central Electoral Commission of Armenia. The top ten candidates are as follows: Artur Baghdasaryan, Mher Shahgeldyan, Heghine Bisharyan, Ishkhan Khachaturyan, Hayk Hovhannisyan, Karen Davtyan, Simon Hakobyan, Marine Kocharyan, Hasmik Yeghiazaryan, and Vahe Vardapetyan.
One of the party’s candidates for deputy, Mher Shahgeldyan, told reporters that the Rule of Law will continue to offer solutions in the new parliament. “We have defended and will continue to defend the revolution because Armenia needs change. Now, real changes are necessary in order to advance the political system. The plan that we have presented is aimed towards solving problems.”
Mher Shahgeldyan noted that perhaps they support the revolution, but if there are problems, they will not hesitate to be critical. “If there is an issue of support, then we will support the revolution because the country is in need of development.”
