The “Tata Steel Chess India” chess festival took place in Kolkata, India. Armenia’s best chess player Levon Aronian won 12 points in blitz chess, and just as in fast chess, he won third place. The players in 1st and 2nd places, Hikaru Nakamura and Viswanathan Anand (12.5 points), held a tiebreaker, where Anand won 1.5:0.5 and was declared the winner.
