Acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Mrs. Anna Hakobyan attended a ceremony dedicated to Artsakh Hero Robert Abadjian’s birthday at the Rehabilitation Center of the Defender of the Fatherland. The event was also attended by Robert Abadjian’s parents and grandparents.
Robert Abadjian’s comrades in arms and the young inmates prepared shashlyk in the Center’s courtyard, and then celebrated their friend’s birthday with Nikol Pashinyan, Anna Hakobyan, and the parents and relatives of the Hero of Artsakh.
“Today is the birthday of the Hero of Artsakh, our dear Robert Abadjian. I propose that we raise a glass for Robert, for his heroism and all of our fallen and living heroes. Let us drink to make sure that our lives and activities are worthy of their heroism, the sacrifice they made for the sake of the Motherland, for the sake of the Armenian people, for all of us. I hope we can live up to Robert Abadjian’s heroism regardless of what we are doing,” Nikol Pashinyan said and thanked Robert Abadjian’s parents for having raised such a brave son.
Robert Abadjian’s friends told the Acting Prime Minister about their achievements and activities after treatment. Nikol Pashinyan toured the rehabilitation center and was briefed on the progress in the construction of a new building. There will be rooms and lounges for game therapy, recreation, educational audiences. The construction of the new building will be completed by the summer of 2019.
