Acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan firmly responded to a question about the current situation in the CSTO during a press conference. He said that the CSTO rules state that all member states are military and political allies, but the President of a CSTO member state invites an ambassador of a country that is not a member of the CSTO and says that they are negotiating with Azerbaijan in order to sell them weapons. “This is the situation. He is informing us that such discussions are taking place. Such a situation as never taken place before. We are not speaking about changes in the rules of the CSTO, but instead, we are talking about practical changes. We want to say that it is strange that there are discussions initiated by CSTO members with the enemy states of other member states, states that threaten member states daily that they are going to take over the capital city. You want to say that you encourage the invasion of our capital city? And you don’t want us to do anything about it? That’s impossible.”
