Pashinyan answers question about why Serzh Sargsyan has not been arrested yet

November 21,2018 18:40

Acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan answered a question about whether his approach has changed regarding Serzh Sargsyan being responsible for the events of March 1st, meanwhile, he still has not invited Sargsyan for questioning. He said, “My approach has not changed.”

Pashinyan said that such discoveries have been made regarding March 1st that it’s surprising that a whirlwind has not surrounded these discoveries. According to Pashinyan, “Evidence from law enforcement agencies in the country has been rigged on the highest level… that’s normal.”

Pashinyan said, “Now they’re asking why Serzh Sargsyan has not been arrested. What kind of question is that? And then they say that Serzh Sargsyan and Mikayel Minasyan organized this revolution. Someone who says something like that does not even have the most primitive respect for their own people. Whether or not you want to believe it, I have never made anyone arrest or not arrest someone, that has never happened nor will it ever happen.”

Pashinyan assured that his views on Serzh Sargsyan have not changed, and criminal investigations actively continue.
