World record in draw during Carlsen-Caruana match

November 22,2018 18:42

The stakes do not seem to be aiming towards a draw in the World Chess Championships in London, where Magnus Carlsen and Fabiano Caruana are competing for the title of World Champion. The 9th tour has finished. The competitors once again agreed to split the point at the 57th move. The score was 4.5:4.5.

Chess statistics show that the number of draws in a row that took place during the championships in London resulted in a new record. The last record was broken in 1995 during the match between Garry Kasparov and Viswanathan Anand.

The tenth tour is currently taking place.
