Vice Speaker of the National Assembly Eduard Sharmazanov, during a meeting with reporters in parliament, appealed to Nikol Pashinyan. “Dear Prime Minister, you’ve gotten in trouble with all of the promises you’ve made. What does “flying developments” mean? He didn’t say evolutionary developments, he said that he’s conducting a revolution, there will be ‘flying developments,’ and everyone will be able to feel them. Now, I have a question. Pashinyan said that cameras need to be completely removed from the roads, as well as speed checks, but now he says that speed checks are necessary. Isn’t this contradictory? Pashinyan as a deputy said that we need to remove the speed cameras, but Pashinyan as Prime Minister says that they’re important. Regarding the red parking lines, he said that the money paid for those is filling people’s pockets. Those people are no longer in government. You either are one of those people, or that money is filling your own pocket. Why aren’t you removing the red parking lines? He said that no one from Baghramyan 26 should call judges. During the protests, he said that he would like to see a judge who wouldn’t do what he demands. He asked if there are any judges who wouldn’t do as he says. This is a clear violation of what he himself used to say. During the Four-Day War, he announced that this war was due to allowing Azerbaijan into the EAEU, and was agreed upon with Russia. Whenever he goes to Russia, he doesn’t say anything to Putin besides ‘thank you.’ He said that the EAEU is damaging Armenia’s ability to self-government, but now he praises the EAEU.”
Sharmazanov continued. “Pashinyan, at one point, when he was clean-shaven, said at the opera that 80 percent of people are against mandatory accumulations. When he became Prime Minister, he became a fan of mandatory accumulations. I am only speaking facts. I am not pulling anything from mid-air like he does. Pashinyan as a clean-shaven deputy and Pashinyan with a beard say two different things.”
