Deputies and leading candidates of the RPA Armen Ashotyan and Arpine Hovhannisyan held a press conference, kicking off the start of the election campaigns. Ashotyan called upon everyone to come outside of the black and white mentality. “We are more colorful and vivid.”
Aravot mentioned Ararat Mirzoyan’s comment that the party’s warmth is shown through their black and white posters, and Facebook users ask if these posters were made at a funeral home. Arpine Hovhannisyan responded, “Who was the first to order items from a funeral home? Who used items from a funeral home during the revolution, don’t you remember? Weren’t they government authorities? Were we the ones to initially come up with that bright, groundbreaking, and earth-shattering idea? It would do Ararat Mirzoyan well to focus on the fight against corruption, his campaign, and the heavy load that Nikol Pashinyan placed on his shoulders for these upcoming two weeks as the Acting Deputy Prime Minister. December 6th is an important day, and Ararat Mirzoyan has an important role.”
Ashotyan said that it’s surprising that Mirzoyan considers warmth to be a color, and that there must be an issue among the new authorities in recognizing colors overall. “People have to do the kind of PR where, before the election campaigns even start, the Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister, and their political team all focus on your designs. Thank you, Mr. Nikol Pashinyan, for completely praising our project.”
