Head of the Prosperous Armenia party Gagik Tsarukyan spoke about the activities of Acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during a rally in Abovyan. “My people, it’s not easy to take on such a heavy task. I can tell you that, after seeing Mr. Pashinyan, it’s not an easy job. He did what he needed to. Glory to him. He wants to carry out his activities until the end. And everyone needs to support him for that reason and take out the thorns from his finger. We shouldn’t create problems for him instead, understand that. Finding something wrong and complaining about it isn’t right. He’s the leader of our country. There need to be privileges and advantages. It’s a question of our nation’s honor. We need to think about one family where if someone can say something, they have to do it. It’s easy to govern if you’re ignorant and can’t picture what’s going on. You can talk, and very well at that, but it’s tough work. What’s most important is that you have to know that hundreds of thousands of families are waiting for you. It’s on your conscience. How can you sleep at night? Those people believe in you, and they wait in hope that tomorrow will be a better day.”
According to Gagik Tsarukyan, when people feel those changes, there will be a spark in their eyes.
Tsarukyan also demanded that the people of Abovyan respect, love, and pay attention to the elderly. “Perhaps someone older than you cannot understand your imagination, but you will become a parent one day too. We have to pay attention to our grandmothers and grandfathers. The older they get, the more childlike they are, and they get upset by the littlest things. They are happy with nice words and their lives lengthen.” Gagik Tsarukyan said that his fortune was checked in thousands of ways, and he doesn’t want any power because of his fortune. He also said that he took ruined structures and returned them with the “latest standards.” “I know about all sectors one by one. Health, education, agriculture, pensioners, soldiers, and I know about people with disabilities. We need to pay attention to them.”
