‘Soldier stuck under avalanche found dead’: Pashinyan

The soldier who was stuck underneath an avalanche in the Gegharkunik region has died. Acting Prime Minister, head of the My Step alliance Nikol Pashinyan announced this during a rally. Citizens asked him to give them information, and they also suggested to organize search parties, but a little while later, Nikol Pashinyan announced, “I have some bad news. The soldier was found dead. I express my condolences to his friends and family.” He called upon the citizens to hold a moment of silence in honor of the soldier’s memory.

According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the soldier got stuck under an avalanche on November 27th in the Kakhak village of Gegharkunik.
