Sasna Tsrer: ‘No party, regardless of power, has enough professional resources to satisfy all state governing needs’

December 02,2018 15:32

Head of the Sasna Tsrer Pan-Armenian party Varuzhan Avetisyan, during a campaign rally in Charentsavan, repeated the party’s belief that Armenia needs to take steps with a transitional mindset given that it is in a transitional phase right now. Armenia needs to come out onto the main road that will provide it with a smooth, stable, safe, and developing path.

According to Avetisyan, “Unlike the other forces, we only see this parliament lasting for two years, because the conditions that brought upon this new parliament will not allow it to work for five years in favor of our national interests.”

He also spoke about professionalism in politics. “We need strong professionals. The best professionals have either left Armenia or do not work in the government system. No party, regardless of how powerful it is, has enough professional resources to satisfy all state governing needs. We need to make use of our nation’s professional resources. We need a new constitution that will form national democratic institutions.”
