RPA has serious chances of entering parliament due to 20-year accumulated resources: Karen Kocharyan

December 03,2018 15:41

“The fight is moving towards a black-and-white phase, and it reminds us of ping-pong; Republicans against My Step, My Step against Republicans,” campaign manager Karen Kocharyan told reporters.

According to Karen Kocharyan’s observations, the Republicans are not going out onto the streets and meeting with people, but Nikol Pashinyan is constantly talking about them.

Speaking about the campaigns led by the other political forces, the campaign manager specifically referred to the “Menk (Us)” alliance. “I like the campaign led by the ‘Menk (Us)’ alliance. They have a very creative campaign. For example, before the campaigns, they would write “We are coming,” and people would wonder who these people are who are coming. I also have to speak about what Aram Sargsyan did before going to Gyumri. He started their campaign by the “Men” statue, showing that Gyumri is a city of men.”

When asked what forces will be in parliament, Karen Kocharyan said, “Levon Shirinyan has presented good plans. He speaks with confidence, but he does not have any creativity, and I don’t know how they can get into parliament. Nikol Pashinyan took votes from Sasna Tsrer, which shows that it’s possible to have a change in government without the use of weapons. The RPA’s chances are also high, since having accumulated 20 years of resources is a lot. Gagik Tsarukyan’s activities in Prosperous Armenia have a lot of meaning, but I do not think that the ARF will be a part of the new parliament.”
