The four-hour limit expressed in the Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly has passed, but the 53 deputies needed to uphold the quota for the session were not present.
The session that was to take place regarding the stripping deputy Aram Harutyunyan of his immunity did not take place since the quota was not upheld. The deputies needed to wait for four hours for the deputies not present to come and register.
However, once the four hours had passed, Speaker of the National Assembly Ara Babloyan announced, “The sufficient number of deputies necessary for this session to take place were not present. Therefore, today’s session has been canceled. We will hold this session tomorrow at 10 AM.”
