Acting Prime Minister of Armenia and head of the My Step alliance Nikol Pashinyan spoke to reporters about RPA candidate David Shahnazaryan’s announcement that his being invited to the NSS is political persecution. “Let him tell the NSS about the conspiracy that he thinks exists. He said that the revolution helped forces so that the authorities over Artsakh formula would be put in place. It seems that he’s blaming us for conspiring with other forces against Artsakh. The NSS has to see if that’s right or wrong, and it needs to find out who the conspirators are,” Pashinyan said.
He emphasized that David Shahnazaryan makes announcements, but refuses to go to the NSS and present his facts about how the current authorities are conspiring against Artsakh. “People need to know whether that’s a conspiracy or a lie.” Pashinyan said that he has a strong hypothesis that those who believe he wants to return Artsakh are foreign agents who push for conspiracy theories.
“This is an accusation of treason against the state. If they can’t present facts, then it’s charlatanism,” Pashinyan said.
