The Bright Armenia political party held a pre-election gathering. Candidate for deputy from Bright Armenia Mane Tandilyan assured reporters that if there is high voter participation, their political party will be in second place, because people will vote for them. She does not agree with some statements that Bright Armenia will be the third force in parliament.
Reporters observed that, after the television debate, when Gagik Tsarukyan spoke about Edmon Marukyan’s financial supporters, his ratings dropped. Tandilyan was asked how the party was going to prove that they have nothing to do with the former system. She said that both she and Marukyan distributed brochures afterwards and they received different responses. “Who said that our ratings dropped? Edmon Marukyan spoke in more detail about that than he was able to on television. That is a lie. No leading member of Bright Armenia has any connections with the former authorities. That is simply a way to degrade us, but our citizens are awake.”
Speaking about the RPA’s criticism that they will be a pocket opposition, Mane Tandilyan said that when they need to, the RPA says that you left your friends behind, and when they don’t need to, they say that you’re collaborating with them. According to Tandilyan, the one responsible for the current situation in Armenia is the RPA along with its colleagues in the coalition, and citizens understand that well.
